The Augusta Arts Council is a Non-Profit Organization, run entirely by volunteers, dedicated to promoting the arts in our community. Art comes in different forms, whether it be local Art Showings, Motion Pictures, Community Events, Musical Performances, Live Theatre and more. We try to promote all forms of art. Unfortunately, the ability to do so also comes with some expense. Being a non-profit, we are not immune to the expense it takes to put on a motion picture and plan an art showing.
Therefore, we continue to ask for donations from our local patrons, businesses, as well as anyone who has a passion for the Arts in and around Augusta. We do not employ anyone with the Arts Council (All board members are volunteers themselves) so every dollar given goes right back into programs and the cost to keep our buildings open.
